The past few weeks have been difficult for our entire community, but it's been inspiring to see how our community comes together in times like these to support one another.
We supply our microgreens to several dozen local restaurants (we ❤️you all!) and as they were forced to close and/or alter their own operations, our own business was similarly impacted.
Thankfully, our sales through grocery stores have increased to help offset this. As a result, we've been able to keep our entire staff employed -- which we are incredibly grateful for.

We built City Roots as a place for the community to come together, so it is with sadness that we have had to cancel all upcoming events, tours, and visits to the farm. We're still here to support our community though -- please just call or email instead of visiting for now. We'll open the farm back up to the public as soon as we can!

Through our new venture, Hemp City Sprouts, we are planting 250,000 hemp seedlings in our Barnwell, SC greenhouses.
